What is branding? – The perceived emotional corporate image as a whole.

What is identity? – The visual aspects that form part of the overall brand.

What is a logo? – A logo identifies a business in its simplest form via the

use of a mark or icon.

 

As a graphic designer my philosophy on logos is “keep it simple”. Professionally designed your unique logo should be identifiable quickly, impressing your image and branding to your potential clients. The feel is important, not necessarily literal with longevity in mind. It should stand the test of time and not rely on trends. By keeping it simple your logo will be more easily identifiable  and relevant through time. And most importantly become the cornerstone to your branding.
